Our elder population is growing at an unprecedented rate. While statistically seniors become the victims of crime less frequently than younger people do, when they are victimized the effects can be particularly devastating. Senior Victim Services is a private non-profit organization, serving victims of crime age 55 years and older in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. We provide advocacy, assistance and safety within the criminal justice system for older victims, and collaborate with social service agencies and community organizations in order to restore their lives and prevent further victimization. In addition we offer crime prevention education programs. All of our services are free and confidential.
